If you are stressed for a deadline, meeting, date, the holidays, or just stressed in general, Rescue Remedy may be the stress reliever for you! I would highly recommend this product; it helped my stress greatly without making me drowsy. The taste is nice. It is a natural product. I give this product 4.5/5.

What is Rescue Remedy?

Rescue Remedy, a product from Bach Original Flower Remedies, is a natural stress relief homeopathic remedy that can be found in stores such as Whole Foods and The Vitamin Shoppe.

Since it is a natural remedy, it is not supposed to cause any horrible side effects (unless you have allergies to the ingredients), be harsh on your body, or make you feel drowsy.

Rescue Remedy Products:

Rescue Remedy comes in many different forms:

• Rescue Pastilles (50g pastilles; alcohol-free; black current flavor)
• Rescue Sleep Liquid Melts (28 capsules; alcohol-free; not habit forming; dissolvable)
• Rescue Gum (17 pieces; orange and elderflower flavor)
• Rescue Remedy Spray (20ml or 0.7 fl oz)
• Rescue Remedy Drops
• Rescue Remedy Kids
• Rescue Remedy Pet
• Rescue Cream

Each of these products are meant to be used “for relief of occasional stress”, though the Rescue Sleep Liquid Melts are also supposed to provide “natural relief of occasional sleeplessness caused by stress and repetitive thoughts.”

My Rescue Remedy Experience:

I first purchased Rescue Remedy products from Whole Foods when I started a public speaking course my first year of college. Public speaking always terrified me, and I always got the jitters before a speech. I needed a way to calm my nerves. I took some rescue remedy spray (2 sprays to the tongue) and in about 10-15 minutes I felt relaxed and was able to get through my speech. The relaxed feeling lasted about 30 minutes. I have tried the Rescue Pastilles, Rescue Sleep Liquid Melts, Rescue Gum, and Rescue Remedy Spray. Each of these products offered me the same stress relief.

Pros:

Majority of the products have a lovely taste

The containers are small enough to keep in a pocket or purse

The product relieves occasional stress as promised on the packaging

The product is fast acting

The product did not make me feel drowsy or cause side effects

The product is natural

Cons:

The product does not last for an extensive amount of time

• Clematis vitalba (focus when ungrounded)

• Ornithogalum umbellatum (softens impact of shock)

Rescue Liquid Sleep Melts also contain aesculus hippocastanum (relief from repetitive thoughts).
