This product is a witch hazel cleanser/astringent/toner for the skin that contains aloe vera and other natural ingredients.

According to the back of its packaging, it is “A natural gentle skin astringent derived from a time honored Native-American formula. Our unique blend deep cleans skin of excess oil, dirt, and make-up, while leaving your skin soft, and younger looking. Our formula contains a proprietary blend of seven efficacious cleansing herbal extracts, first published for use by skin care professionals in 1875.”

Witch hazel naturally tightens pores and smooths skin.

This astringent comes in many different scents including lemon, rose, lavender, peach, and unscented. Some are alcohol-free, and others do contain alcohol.

Thayers Witch Hazel can be found at stores such as Whole Foods, The Vitamin Shoppe, Target, Walmart, etc. for under $10.

My Experience with this Product:

I have used this product since I was a child. It cleans the skin very well; I will often wash my face beforehand and then pour some of this onto a cotton ball and dab it on my face. It lifts up any dirt or makeup that my washcloth may have missed. I have only tried the lemon scent, and this scent smells heavenly.

My skin is very sensitive, so using products often causes blemishes; I find that if I use this product continuously (every day), my skin will break out. I find it nice to use once in a while.
