The glycerin soap that I was using for about a year
was discontinued, so I went on the hunt for a new soap that would be gentle on
my sensitive skin while still being healthy without a lot of ingredients or
fragrances. I went to Whole Foods and found that soap: the 365 Everyday Value
Unscented Vegetable Glycerin Soap.
This soap is gentle on my skin, has very few
ingredients, is reasonably priced, and can be found at Whole Foods in the soap
isle.
I give this product a 5/5.
What
is 365 Everyday Value Unscented Vegetable Glycerin Soap?
365 Everyday Value is Whole Foods’ personal brand, and
this soap is cruelty free, biodegradable, natural, and contains no artificial
colors. In fact, there are only two ingredients in the unscented soap.
This soap comes in scents as well, most of them
smelling very nice.
This soap is not featured on Whole Foods’ official
website, but it is in Whole Foods stores in the soap isle and costs $1.99.
My
Experience with this Product:
I have very sensitive skin, so it can be hard to
find soap that does not irritate my face. The fewer ingredients in a product
the better! I have been using this soap for about two years and I have experienced no breakouts or
chapped skin from using this soap. Also, for being unscented, it has a
naturally pleasant scent that does not stay on the skin after washing. It is
easily rinsed off and leaves no residue.
Pros:
Smells nice
Leaves no residue
Contains only two ingredients
No harsh fragrances
Natural
Cruelty free
Worth the money
Does not cause breakouts
Cons:
None so far
Ingredients:
- Saponified coconut and/or palm oil
- Vegetable glycerin

Guess what, Lindsey? It looks as though Whole Food's 365 unscented bar soap has been discontinued as well. I shop at Whole Foods in WLA (on 3rd & Fairfax), and they have removed the shelf label for this. A staff looked it up on her computer, and there ws no mention of it. Seems like whenever a good product comes along, someone in the executive suite decides to axe it. Go figure. -Rob
ReplyDeleteI also have been using this soap and it is out of stock. The person at the whole foods here where I live said they are repackaging them and don't know when they will be back in stock. It's very disappointing as I have super sensitive skin and this was the only one I could tolerate. Now I have to find a different one.
